Dr. Herman Gill, PHD and Director of USA Divorced Parents, is a professor in early childhood education and psychology. His research in the field of child attachment and paternal bonding in early childhood development provided significant new insights on the importance of paternal as well as maternal parenting in divorce. His recent research at Seattle University and teaching at numerous colleges and universities in the United States include the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, University of California and University of Hawaii. His current research interests are in the area of parenting, self advocacy in divorce. and the study of child and adolescent development in divorce. He has testified as an expert throughout the United States.
